Travel Essentials: What to Pack for Your Next Holiday

Planning your next holiday, overseas adventure or cruise? A little preparation before you leave can make your journey much more comfortable.

Before you pack your suitcase, make sure you have the essentials you may need while travelling.

Your travel health checklist

Travel sickness medication. If you're prone to motion sickness, it's worth preparing before you leave. Speak with our pharmacy team about suitable options for your journey, whether you're flying, cruising or travelling by car. Especially useful if you're going whale watching.

Cold & flu essentials. Being away from home when you're feeling unwell isn't much fun. Consider packing some basic cold and flu products so you're prepared if symptoms appear during your trip.

First aid essentials. A small travel first aid kit can be handy for minor cuts, blisters, headaches and everyday ailments.

Travel adapters & chargers. Don't forget your phone charger and the correct travel adapter for your destination. These are easy to overlook until you arrive!

Personal medications. Make sure you have enough of your regular medications for your entire trip, plus a little extra in case of unexpected delays. Keep medications in their original packaging and check any requirements for travelling with medicines.
